In the driver's seat, continued...

My description of the Chariot Card from the booklet (2007):

Negotiating a winding road, under unseasonable
atmospheric conditions, the chariot weathers
childhood trials and grown-up challenges.

Though the chassis has changed quite a bit, the
engine still has that spark and willpower evident
at age 3 – undiluted through the decades.

Inventory all the forces.  Tune-up the vehicle.
Make way for new ideas.  Add tried and true
talismans of love and magic, and the occasional
‘foolish’ dream.

I remember being exceedingly attached to our (1955?) Buick Special.  It was two-tone baby blue and white.  A vivid memory of sitting in the back seat on the floor talking to the car, upset because my parents were going to sell it:  " I won't forget you" or something along those lines (!)

The traditional Chariot card description is still difficult for me to relate to.  The best distilled takeaway: "indicates new motivation or inspiration, which gets a stagnant situation moving again".
